VISIONS FOR SCIENCE — Michio Kaku, a physicist and author who has appeared on several television programs, talks about the future of science during an appearance at Rome Free Academy auditorium Wednesday night as part of the Project Fibonacci STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) Conference. About 400 people including students at the conference as well as from the public heard Kaku speak. PHYSICIST’S VIEWS — Physicist and author Michio Kaku speaks Wednesday night at Rome Free Academy auditorium before an audience of about 400, as part of the Project Fibonacci STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) Conference. Kaku has appeared on television programs including “CBS This Morning,” the Discovery Channel, the History Channel and the Science Channel. Students ages 16-22 from across the state are attending the conference, which includes various workshops and field trips in addition to speakers, who today include celebrity chef Julie Taboulie at 3 p.m. at The Beeches, and Daymond John, a co-star of ABC’s show, “Shark Tank,” at 6:30 p.m. at RFA.
